Business in Biobanking & Population Health Data Event : preliminary program available

 

On the 13^th and 14^th of September EIT Health partners University Medical Center Groningen and University Groningen Center for Entrepreneurship, together with BiomarkerBay will host the 2^nd Business in Biobanking and Population Health Data event. The event focuses on how biobanks and population data sources can support product development and business development.

Building on showcases from the renowned Groningen biobank infrastructure, the event will present past, and explore future public-private interactions. Herein a special focus is put on startups and SMEs. Especially those in search for specific samples (biological & datasets) or other forms of ‘business intelligence’ that can be delved from the patient and population based ‘goldmines’. The event has several thematic sessions covering a wide range of areas: from cardiometabolic to mental health, and from oncology to longitudinal (lifecourse) data sources (to download: event flyer  & preliminary program).
