LC-MS/MS-analysis to measure cortisol and related metabolites in plasma are now available on our database. Alterations in the levels of these compounds are related to disorders of adrenal biosynthesis, steroid producing tumours, cortisol under- or overproduction, stress. In addition, we also present a LC-MS-based assay to measure 8-Hydroxy-2-deoxyguanosine in urine. Altered levels of this metabolite can be an indication for oxidative stress and carcinogenesis.
